GovPath is owned and operated by a California sole proprietor LLC.

What we collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Email address — when you sign up on the landing page. This is sent to Mailchimp for email delivery.
  • Account email and password — when you create an account via Supabase. This is stored securely.
  • Quiz answers and checklist progress — stored in your browser locally and, if you have an account, in our database.
  • Pageview analytics — collected via PostHog. This is anonymized and used to understand how people use the product.

How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the GovPath service.
  • Send you emails you signed up for, with an opt-out link in every email.
  • Improve the product via aggregated analytics data.

Who we share it with

We share data with a small set of trusted vendors who help us run GovPath:

  • Mailchimp — email delivery.
  • Supabase — secure account and data storage.
  • PostHog — analytics.
  • Vercel — hosting.

We do not sell your personal information.

GovPath uses cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in) and analytics (PostHog). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, which may affect login functionality.

Your rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To request data deletion, email hello@gov-path.com.

Data retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@gov-path.com.
