Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

By using GovPath, you agree to these terms.

What GovPath is

GovPath is an informational tool that helps small business owners understand the federal government contracting process. It is not a law firm, procurement consultant, or legal advisor.

Not legal or procurement advice

Nothing on GovPath constitutes legal advice, procurement advice, or a guarantee of any outcome. Government programs and requirements change — always verify requirements directly with the relevant agency.

No guarantee of outcomes

GovPath does not guarantee approval for any SBA certification, successful SAM.gov registration, or winning any government contract. Results depend entirely on your business's eligibility and the agencies involved.

Accurate information

GovPath makes reasonable efforts to keep guide content accurate and current. Government processes change frequently. You are responsible for verifying all requirements with the relevant agency before taking action.

User responsibilities

You agree not to use GovPath to submit false or fraudulent information to government agencies. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter into the quiz and checklist.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us at hello@gov-path.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GovPath's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the total amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. If you have not paid anything, GovPath's liability is $0.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
